Sex and Harry Potter.

Today is a happy day.

It is a happy day, cause today this page will be visited by its 1000nd viewer! Yeah!!!!!

Today is also a sad day.

It is a sad day though, because the site was more visited on the day I mentioned Harry Potter, then all the other days together (well, almost). In other words, Equality is not such a hot subject. Neither is Academic Research. I'm completley and utterly SHOCKED.

So I gather, if I was writing about sex, or any kind of sexual activity, it would be 1000 pageviews a day. Unfortunatly, I never write about sex or any sexual activity. Unless there is a clear connection between the idealogy I describe and sex or the sexual activity. Of course, there is the interesting subject of sexual equality. And the disturbing issue of sexual exploitation as a result of economical inequalities. But I can hardly change my focus just to get more visitors! It would be rather cheap just to mention sex for the numbers, would it? So, I will just drop the sex subject all together! Nor will I mention sexual activities for no obvious reasons.

There also isn't any connection between my reasearch and Harry Potter (however, he does have a rather interesting, discriminating view on house elves...). So I cannot mention him anymore either... Remember: while dealing with ethics, one should abstract from his identity...

Fortunatly this is just the weblog page, with some room for Harry Potter.

Still, I will not mention sex. Or sexual activities.
